My last week in Marambure :(

This week was really good for me and my companion. We worked really hard at talking with everyone we saw in the streets. We also had a ton of lessons this week was amazing. When you put all your faith in the Lord, anything is possible. Another exciting thing that happened this week was the daughter of our Bishop came home from her mission.
Bishops Family {Rojas}

Her name is Divina and she served in Brazil, San Paulo. She is the most amazing person ever. Her house was just filled with family members and friends.

We got to do a little service at her house before she came home and clean and decorate for her. It was super fun, but we didn't say too long. She has been such a big help and has been giving us references like crazy. She even had an investigator at church this Sunday, and we are going to have a family home evening at her house tonight. She is amazing and is helping the ward be more motivated with missionary work. It is a big blessing.
Oh, another happy note we had 3 investigators in church yesterday! We were super happy! We also got to teach one other investigator for the first time yesterday, and he seemed to accept it really well. He also promised to come to church with his wife next Sunday! Yay!

So this morning we received transfers. Not going to lie, I am really sad. I am leaving my best friend, Hermana Dunagan, and the area that I love so dearly. I am leaving my Paraguayan family, Rojas (aka Bishop's family) as well. But I guess the Lord has something else prepared for me. I am returning to the same area I started off in. {Ysapy} We will see how this goes.

I love you all so much and hope everything is all well. I will hear from you guys next week! Be safe! I LOVE YOU!!!!

My Hermanas

This week was really good. We had an amazing lesson this week with one of our new investigators. We taught her about the restoration and after when I was baring my testimony tears were running down my checks as the Spirit filled my mouth with words. It was a really strong and memorable moment. I am so grateful for this Gospel in my life. It truly is the definition of happiness. I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God, and restored the church of Jesus Christ on this earth. I know that God has a plan for us, His children, to return back to live with Him some day. I know that He loves each and everyone of us, and wants us to be happy. I know when we are obedient that He will bless us more than we can ever imagine. I am proud to call myself a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know this is true. I know it changes lives. I am blessed to be able to share this message with others.

I don't have much time, but I want you all to know I love you and am so blessed with so many people in my life. Have an amazing week.
Lunch at the expo we visited last week!

This week was really great!! First off Bishop's family took me out to dinner, and gave me this ADORABLE and made leather bag! It was one that I said that I loved a few months ago, and they remembered. They are just the best! I love my Paraguayan family that I have here!

Tuesday my companion was really sneaky and planned with the other sisters to surprise me. They decorated the house with lots of balloons and they came in and woke me up at 6:30 and threw balloons and confetti in my face while they sang happy birthday. Then they also made me a lemon pie and sang for me. I just live with the best sisters ever!

Best Companion in World!!!

I also have the best companion in the whole wide world!!! Also a lot of members remembered it was my birthday and prepared lots of treats for me in the night. Love them. Wednesday we had a zone conference with President, and they all sang happy birthday to me. I also got a package from Grandma Blake! Yay! We also had divisions that day with the sister leader trainers, so I got to go back with President and hear of his stories. Then Saturday we got to go to the office, and there I got 2 more packages from my mom!!!! She is just the best in the whole wide world, and spoiled me!!!! Lets just say I got to celebrate my birthday all week!

Well I have been studying in the bible lately and came across some pretty good stuff. I was first reading in 2 Kings 5:9-13, about the story of Naaman.  He was a leper, and wanted to be healed. He heard about a prophet who could heal him. He received direction from one of the Prophets servants to go wash himself in the river Jordan 7 times. The river was not the cleanest, and the king did not understand why he must go to that specific river. He even asked in verse 12 if there were cleaner rivers. But he had to have faith, and as result he was healed. I like to think of this story as with my mission. All missionaries receive a mission call, revelation directly from Heavenly Father to His Prophet. We do not hear the words from the Prophet, but in a letter. We then get sent to places all over the world, which might not be the "cleanest", but we too must show our faith and accept the revelation given to the prophets. With this we too can be healed, or made whole. Being on a mission has strengthened my testimony greatly.
Also I like to think of the story of the Rich man in the Bible. Jesus told him that he had to leave everything he had, and follow Him. (Lucas 18: 18-23) I am grateful for this opportunity that I had to leave my family and studies behind to follow my Lord. I can see all the blessings in my life, and feel a happiness everyday. I know that this is the Lords work, and I am proud to call myself His disciple. I know  He lives, and He will return again. I love this Gospel.
Have a great week!

So I don't have a lot of time, but this week was good! Thank you everyone for the sweet birthday wishes! I feel so loved!!!
This week 2 of the young men in our ward received their mission calls. It was such a wonderful Sunday meeting, and everyone was bearing their testimonies on missionary work. I love what one of the Sisters said in our ward, that our mission starts when we are baptized. I know that we all made this special promise with our Heavenly Father, and we all are disciples of Him. I am so grateful for this opportunity to share this joy with others here in Paraguay. Also one more thing that she said was, the seed they are going to plant in their mission, their parents are going to receive the fruit in their home. I love my family, and have seen many blessings received in their lives.

Today Bishop is going to take us out for dinner for my birthday, which should be really fun. Also for 4th of July we went to a member's house and made some American food! Overall lots of fun!
I hope you all have a great week! Love you!
