This week was pretty good. Tuesday we had a special mission to perform. We got a call early in the morning from the mission nurse. She told us that the temple missionary that lived in our area was really sick. They were worried she was home all alone, because no one was answering the phone. They asked us to go pick up a list of medicine, and some food. We were giving instructions to have her take all these pills and also cook for her some food. So we took the mission and went and gathered all the stuff. Well, we got to her house and the Hermana refused to eat or take the medicine. I had to call our mission nurse and have the Hermana talk to her. After the Hermana started telling us stories... and boy does she LOVE to tell stories.... But I think it was to try and distract us from feeding her and giving her medicine. Luckily one of her daughters came over to cook and feed her mom. It was lucky too, because she should not be home alone.
Mothers day in Paraguay is the 15 of May, so my companion and I planned something to do for all the mothers. We made some heart cards and wrote little notes. We also planned on sharing Proverbs 3:15 with all of them. So that day we visited lots of mothers, and most of our lessons ended with tears. People don't realize how important mothers are, I being one of them. But Moms are the absolute best thing in the world, they are always there for their children. I am so blessed to have a wonderful mother who has sacrificed so much for me. I love my mom!!!! Love,
Hermana Sanders
